Department of Gynae/Obstetrics (Research & Academics)

MCH is highly active in research and academic activities. The efficient and competent faculty is a part of the various national and foreign societies and organization in various disciplines of Medical profession. The academic programme includes regular morbidity mortality case review sessions. Weekly journal Club, bedside presentation, subject discussions & tutorials. Fortnightly Clinic Pathological Conference and Neonatal meeting are improving inter departmental cooperation & interaction. Regular workshop, postgraduate intensive courses and guest lectures are conducted in collaboration with the different medical institution in the country and institution abroad.

Papers have also been presented in international Conferences including international Congress of Royal College of Obst/Gynae. in Sydney Australia in Oct 2002 & WHO Meeting, Cairo,Egypt in Feb 2002 as well as national meetings including PMA Conference Rawalpindi March 2003,Society of Obst etricians & Gynaecologist Congress in Lahore in Oct 2003,Psychiatrio Congress in Islamabad in January 2004.
